As I begin to transition from my ten-year study of the Pali Canon to the study of the Nalanda Tradition, Mahayana sutras, Vajrayana, and Chan, I have decided to change the name of this blog from “Paliesque” (formerly Pali Suttas) to “Dharmata.” I have kept the original URL, palisuttas.com, the same to make it easy to find by followers. In this context the phrase “pali sutta” may be understood in its generic meaning of “the tradition.”
I expect to complete (of course, no such study is ever complete) my study of the Pali Canon by the end of 2021, which I will follow by a comprehensive study of the Nalanda Tradition in 2022.
