The Book of the Right Way of Laozi – 56

56

He who knows does not talk.
He who talks does not know.
Dull the sharp.
Emancipate the disorderly.
Soften the bright, blend the light,
Pacify the earth.
Truly, we refer to the mystery of being.
Therefore, one never “gets” it, yet it is right here.
No one gets it, and yet it cannot be ignored.
No one gets it, and yet it does not care.
No one gets it, and yet you cannot trouble it.
No one gets it, and yet it is not rare.
No one gets it, and yet it is not inferior.
Therefore, everything under the sun worships it.

知者不言,言者不知。塞其兑,閉其門,挫其銳,解其分,和其光,同其塵,是謂玄同。故不可得而親,不可得而踈;不可得而利,不可得而害;不可得而貴,不可得而賤。故為天下貴。
