The Book of the Right Way of Laozi – 77

The universal way bends like a bow.
High and low tend toward the centre.
The universal way reconciles extremes, restoring everything to its original balance.
But men deplete where there is insufficiency and accumulate where there is excess.
Thus men oppose the natural order.
Only he who follows the way has more than enough.
He acts without an actor and succeeds without effort, without any desire for show.
